Race Organizers’ Responsibilities:
Sponsors for the race.

Volunteers for race committee and race day.
Pre-registration.

Miler marker timers.
Post race printed results.
Publicity.
$100 in one dollar bills for change for race day entries.
On race bibs write participants’ name, age and sex with an indelible pen.
Waiver of liability from race sponsor.
Map of the course.
What to Include on Your Entry Form:
Answer the basic questions (Who? What? Where? When? Why? How much?).
Liability release.
How and where to send pre-registration.
Race contact information (phone number and e-mail address).
List age groups and awards.
List restrictive groups (pets, rollerblades, etc.).
Water availability and refreshments.
John's Run/Walk Shop can provide race direction for a cost of $500 for 5K races (contact us for prices on other race distances). For this amount we will provide:
Course marking.
Pre-race consultation.
Listing on www.johnsrunwalkshop.com.
Collection point for pre-entries.
Finish line equipment and race timing.
Race results.
Age group awards.
Post race follow-up meeting.
There is a one time set up fee of $100 to lay out and measure a new race course. After the initial set up there are no additional charges unless the course is changed and needs to be remeasured.
We can also provide bib numbers and safety pins at an additional cost of .25 cents per number.
