Are you tired of doing those long weekend runs by yourself? Have you ever wanted some other people to run with? If you answered “yes” then John’s might be able to help. We have a training group called John’s Striders that targets beginning to novice runners although more experienced runners are also encouraged to come out. There is a heavy emphasis on camaraderie and having fun while also gaining a higher level of fitness. We welcome anyone from the person who has just started running all the way through the experienced marathon runner. Walkers are welcome too!
The leader of our group is Ernie Peel. For those not familiar with Ernie he has personally run 17 marathons since the age of 50 and he’s mentored many beginning and experienced distance runners these past few years.
